Quicki Study
Went out with some friends in Old Town, Pasadena and did a quick 40 minute study of a church near city hall because we were short on time! Gotta figure out how to effectively capture details next time.

The Grand Budapest Hotel Studies
On the way to Hong Kong, I watched Grand Budapest Hotel and absolutely loved it! I loved the set design and color especially, so I did some film studies on the plane to pass time. Also decided to do a film/ color study two nights ago! I think it turned out more detail than I wanted it- I was really going for a loose, painterly look. Planning to do more color studies of the film later!

Some Sketches from China
Hello all!
Sorry for the lack of posting for these past few weeks! I have recently come back from an amazing trip from China with my family, where we visited Hong Kong, Kunming, and Hangzhou. We saw and learned about some fascinating cultural gems about each city, including visiting some renowned sites such as the Jade Dragon Snow Mountains in Lijiang and Yellow Mountains in Hangzhou!
I tried to paint and draw as much as I could, although the first half was hard because we were part of a tour, so I could barely find time. I'll post some digital sketches I did for now, and my paintings/ drawings up later ( because I don't like them!)
