Practice practice! The top one I think i tried I fed the chaos a little too much... I wasn't squinting enough to the get the overall impression of the place.  So for the bottom Used a 1 inch flat brush to do the bottom painting to practice getting the gesture of the location rather then the detail since these are small 6x8 inches.  So much fun!

Wk 10 Head Painting

...And thats a wrap! Yesterday was the last week of head painting with the amazing Joseph Todorovitch.  This guy is such an AMAZING painter and literally is a painting Yoda.  I learned so incredibly much from him, that my head can hardly contain it.  I am so glad that I took this class, and I recommend all to take it!!


This the last painting I did- we split it up into 2 weeks. I think I'm pretty happy with how it turned out :)

Cloud Studies

The clouds were so unbearably gorgeous yesterday that I had to paint them. took some iPhone photos from my car and i liked how it silhouetted the cityscape so i used them as reference.
